This weekend, accordionists playing music of all stripes—Irish, Scottish, French, Italian, Greek, Klezmer, Balkan, jazz, Ethiopian, and more (we could go on)—descend on Somerville's Davis Square for the annual Squeezebox Slam 2016 music festival.

What better way to mark the occasion than by having two of the musicians drop by? Paddy League and Somer O'Brien faced off on trivia about the news of the week and serenaded us on the squeezebox.

The festivities begin this Sunday at noon and run until six in the evening. You can catch Paddy League performing with Forró Zabumbeca at 3:00, and Somer O'Brien performing with fiddler Emerald Rae at 4:30.

To hear how they did, tune in to Boston Public Radio above.
