Many are excited about General Electric's decision to relocate its global headquarters to Boston, considering it a coup for the city and the state. But in western Massachusetts, where GE once had a major presence, the company has a less than stellar legacy. It's been fighting efforts to clean up the Housatonic River, which it's accused of polluting over the course of its time in the city of Pittsfield. WGBH All Things Considered host Barbara Howard spoke with Tim Gray of the Housatonic River Initiative.
