Governor Charlie Baker is pushing new anti-opioid legislation that would allow medical providers to hold those admitted to hospitals for drug abuse up to 72 hours against their will. Jessie Rossman, a staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts, spoke with WGBH All Things Considered host Barbara Howard about the governor’s proposal.
