Opening arguments begin today after a surprisingly quick jury selection. Prosecutors go first and are expected to present a case that will prove Bulger's guilt in 19 murders, racketeering, extortion and gun-running. The defense, meanwhile, is expected to emphasize a government cover-up that will create a reasonable doubt for jurors regardless of witness testimony or presentation of evidence.
