As the process gets underway to begin the trial of  Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger, WGBH News turns its Focus coverage to the court process and what we can expect to learn in the coming weeks.

Former Assistant District Attorney and law professor at Boston College, Margaret McLean will weigh in each morning with insight and analysis on what's happening inside the courtroom. To begin, she talks about contested motions, or actions that help define the rules of engagement during the hearings and she briefly highlights some of the most interesting witnesses we can expect to hear from, and how they will impact the case.
