Authorities say a condominium caught fire in northeastern Massachusetts, killing two and injuring four, including a 7-year-old boy who suffered serious burns.

Fire Marshal Stephen Coan says the fire began at around 11 p.m. Saturday in Chelmsford in the fourth-floor home of a couple believed to be in their late 60s or early 70s. They were killed.

Coan says four relatives visiting the couple, including two adults, the boy and another child, were injured and taken to hospitals. The victims' names haven't been released.

Several other residents of the building's top floor were rescued from balconies.

Coan says the fire appears to have been an accident. The cause is under investigation.

A 15 year old Holyoke girl died in a fire that started near a wood stove in her home early Saturday morning and a 70 year old Winchendon man died when a fire broke out in his home Friday night. The cause of that fire also believed to be accidental.
