Loneliness has been a serious problem for many throughout pandemic, leading people to search for creative ways to stay connected. At Tufts University, political science professor Eitan Hersh found a creative way to address the problem: inviting his grandfather to join his U.S. elections class via Zoom. Soon after, his students were inviting their older family members as well. Hersh joined Adam Reilly to talk about it, along with two of the grandparents in his class, Donald and Kathie Kaplan.
