For the past two decades, Hot Stove Cool Music has brought together some of the biggest stars in music and baseball to raise money for the Foundation To Be Named Later, the charity of former Red Sox General Manager and now Chicago Cubs President Theo Epstein, and his twin brother Paul. With many people struggling with the financial burden of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers are calling this Thursday's concert especially important. To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by Hot Stove Cool Music regular Kay Hanley, a Dorchester native and lead singer of the band Letters to Cleo.
