Following Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before Congress last week, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has continued to resist calls for impeachment proceedings against the president. Meanwhile, others like Rep. Jerry Nadler hint they may take steps towards it. Massachusetts Congresswoman Lori Trahan was one of a few Democrats who added their support for impeachment following Mueller’s appearance.
Speaking with Jim Braude on Monday, Trahan said that she supports not just beginning impeachment proceedings, but actually impeaching the president. Trahan also spoke about her visit to a migrant detention center on the southern border earlier this summer and answered questions about her campaign finances that have been raised in earlier media stories.
