WGBH News has won five 2019 regional Murrow awards, for its coverage on topics ranging from illicit massage parlors across the state to a man who has been rebuilding his life in Lowell after he was wrongfully imprisoned for nearly 40 years.

The regional awards were announced Apr. 23, and all work that received recognition will be entered into the national Murrow competition. National Murrow award winners will be announced in June.
