This year, they became the first all-girls travel baseball team in the otherwise all boy’s — other than one girl — Mayor’s Cup tournament to ever make it to the quarterfinals; and they ended up proceeding to the semi-finals, too.

Two players from the team, 12-year-old Aurora Pemper and 13-year-old Alyssa Slamin, and their assistant coach, Kate Lavelle, joined Jim Braude to discuss.
