President and CEO of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Mark Volpe, who is stepping down next week, joined Jim Braude to discuss his 23 year legacy at the helm of one of America's premiere orchestras.

“Every time there’s been a period of social or political upheaval, we’ve been able to provide some, frankly, alternative universe,” Volpe said about the pandemic shut down and pivoting to become a media company, streaming content all over the world. "The irony of this pandemic is that we’ve reached millions and millions of people.”
