Today CNN's Chief National CorrespondentJohn King joined Jim Braude and Margery Eagan from Colorado. From there he aims to hit Kansas and Iowa and wherever else he can get to before heading back to Washington D.C. to host Sunday'sInside Politics. When Jim asked John King if he liked doing this King said "I'm doing what I love most--learning about America."

So far King has sat in on a Tea Party meeting in suburban Denver. He's taken in a candidates' forum. He's gone to a school committee meeting. He's canvassed with folks door-to-door; looking at how the Rocky Mountain state's stab at early, mail-in voting will play out. This on-the-ground reporting is what King calls "programming the magic wall." If you tune in to CNN on election night you'll see the fruits of King's road trip.
