Yesterday, New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady threw a 17-yard touchdown pass with five seconds remaining to beat the New Orleans Saints.

Then a few hours later, over at Fenway Park, the Red Sox were down a game to the Detroit Tigers in the second game of the American League Championship Series, trailing by four runs in the eighth inning.

But then, with bases loaded and two outs,  David “Big Papi” Ortiz hit a grand slam, and the Sox went on to win the game and tie the series.
