If you've applied to a job within the past couple of years, you've probably submitted your resume and application online. Hiring managers and recruiters might sift through hundreds of applicants for one job- so many that some companies are now using recruiting software to scan applicants' resumes that are supposed to sort the qualified candidates from the unqualified.

Callie Crossley spoke with Art Papas, the founder and CEO of Bullhorn, a Boston-based recruiting software company, about how to make sure your resume stays out of the reject pile.
