The United Nations designated June 8 to be World Oceans Day, to raise awareness of the benefits we derive from a healthy ecosystem and sustainable environment. This year's theme is "The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods", shedding light on the wonder of the ocean and how it is our lifesource, supporting humanity and every other organism on earth. Aren't we lucky to be so close to the shore of the Atlantic, able to touch the edge of this great expanse!
