Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., America’s great civil rights activist and stirring orator. King received the Nobel Peace Prize for combating racial inequality through nonviolence and moved millions to strive for peace and social justice. Let us all answer his call for harmony by reaching across the barriers that define our differences and find common ground.
In an annual tradition, WCRB In Concert with the Boston Children's Chorus honors Dr. King's legacy with a program of works by African-American composers, traditional spirituals, and much more. The 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert, entitled “Through Her Eyes”, takes place on tonight, at 7pm at Symphony Hall.
