  • Maxim Pozdorovkin is an award-winning director and producer based in New York City. He is the director of five feature-length documentaries and numerous short films, including The Truth About Killer Robots, Our New President, The Notorious Mr. Bout, Pussy Riot: a Punk Prayer, and Capital.   • Julie Kramer served as the disc jockey and photographer at WFNX, the Boston-based alternative rock radio station, for almost 25 years. During her tenure, she met and photographed some of the biggest names in rock ‘n’ roll, such as David Bowie and Nirvana. In 2018, Kramer presented The Basement Archives: Volume One: The Ghosts of WFNX, a photography exhibition featuring her portraits of rock icons. She currently works for the online radio station Indie617.com.
  • A veteran reporter for WBZ-TV News, Bill Shields began his career in journalism as a reporter for KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas. In 1980, Shields joined WBZ-TV and received New England Emmy Awards for his reporting in 1982 and 1987.   • David Sloan Wilson is SUNY Distinguished Professor of Biology and Anthropology at Binghamton University.   • **Linda Thomas-Greenfield** is an American diplomat who is the United States Ambassador to the United Nations under President Joe Biden. A member of the Democratic Party[citation needed], she served as the United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs from 2013 to 2017. Thomas-Greenfield then served in the private sector as a senior vice president at Albright Stonebridge Group in Washington, D.C. President Biden nominated her to be the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, and she was confirmed by the United States Senate on February 23, 2021. She took office after presenting her credentials on February 25, 2021.
  • Soul-stirring, interdisciplinary work has garnered Al Letson national recognition and devoted fans. In 2008 Letson created, hosted, and executive produced State of the Re:Union (SOTRU). Every episode SOTRU examined America through the lens of community. The program aired on more than 300 NPR stations, receiving critical acclaim, and numerous awards, including a Peabody Award (2014), three consecutive National Edward R. Murrow Awards (2012, 2013, 2014). In 2015 SOTRU ended production and Letson joined the Center for Investigative Reporting to help launch and host public radio's first hour-long investigative journalism show, Reveal. Reveal’s first pilot, The VA’s Opiate Overload, won a Peabody Award (2013). Since that time Reveal has gained a large audience and is heard on over 400 public radio stations and over 1 million downloads a month. In 2016 Letson launched his own podcast, showcasing a little bit of errthang. Errthang is just that, everything: storytelling, radio drama, pop culture reviews, and interviews. Letson is basically taking all the things that are floating in his head and turning it into a mixtape of delight for listeners.   • Julie Shapiro is the executive producer of Radiotopia from PRX and Ear Hustle. From 2014-15, Julie was the executive producer of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation / Radio National's (RN) Creative Audio Unit. In 2000 she co-founded the Third Coast International Audio Festival, where as artistic director she shaped the Festival's creative trajectory and nurtured a robust international listening culture. Julie has taught radio to university students, presented at conferences all over the globe, and produced stories for the airwaves in the US and beyond.   • James Bennet, the editorial page editor of The New York Times, is in charge of the Opinion department. He oversees the editorial board and the Letters and Op-Ed sections. Mr. Bennet became editorial page editor in May 2016. Before this role, Mr. Bennet was the president and editor in chief of The Atlantic. Under Mr. Bennet, who was named editor in 2006, The Atlantic substantially increased its editorial reach and impact while returning to profitability for the first time in recent history. Adweek named Mr. Bennet editor of the year in 2012 and Ad Age did the same in 2009. The Atlantic was honored with the National Magazine Award four times during his tenure, including Magazine of the Year and best website, for TheAtlantic.com. Before joining The Atlantic, Mr. Bennet worked for The Times for 15 years in several roles, including Detroit bureau chief, White House correspondent and Jerusalem bureau chief. He also served as a staff writer for The Sunday Magazine. Before joining the Times, Mr. Bennet was an editor with The Washington Monthly. He and his wife have two sons.
