Independent Lens returns November 6 for its 2017-18 season, premiering with Chasing Trane, a portrait of jazz great John Coltrane. Other highlights include the Oscar-nominated I Am Not Your Negro; The Force, an inside look at Oakland’s troubled police department; Unrest, about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome; and Dolores, a moving portrait of pioneering labor and women’s rights activist Dolores Huerta.
