This episode of The Rewind visits the Vegetable Soup Collection of the American Archive of Public Broadcasting (AAPB) contributed by the New York State Archives. Vegetable Soup was produced by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and aimed to oppose racial and cultural stereotypes by exposing children to characters of various backgrounds, ethnicities, races, and cultures.
