Vin Femia’s first book, *The Possible Dream*, published in 2005, describes the reasons why the Red Sox had not won a World Series in so many years, and what they did in 2004 to finally achieve that goal. Vin donated a portion of all proceeds received from that book to the ALS Association, a charity which helps patients with Lou Gehrig’s disease and provides assistance to their families. *The Possible Dream* was # 2 on the Worcester County Best Seller list for two consecutive weeks in 2005, and, as a result, he was able to make a significant donation to that charity. Vin has been in the Computer Software Industry for 35+ years, and has been a life-long sports fan, having spent many hours listening to games on the radio and watching on TV while growing up in Connecticut.
