Senior Director, Digital Content

As the Senior Director of Digital Content, Tory Starr leads efforts at GBH in establishing and implementing innovative content strategies across digital platforms and products. Under her leadership, a new Digital Content unit was formed in 2022, a team supporting GBH productions in digital strategy and production spanning digital video, social media, podcasting, newsletter and website content. From 2018 to 2022, Starr led GBH’s Emerging Platforms Initiative to pilot original programming and instill audience-first content development practices throughout GBH. Starr has been at GBH since 2009 in roles spanning production, social media and digital video. In 2019, she completed the Media Transformation Challenge fellowship at Harvard’s Kennedy School that taught a performance-driven approach to digital change in media organizations.
