Sean McLaughlin

Sean is a Managing Director and research consultant in the Arlington, Virginia office, specializing in writing about the capital markets and investment trends. Before Sean joined Cambridge Associates in 2005, he was global director of public and media relations at Lipper Inc. a subsidiary of Reuters Group Plc. In this role, he communicated the firm’s mutual-fund research to journalists and clients, launched Lipper Leader fund ratings, and supervised a media team based in the US, Europe and Asia. Before joining Lipper, Sean oversaw the investor relations and communications functions for TheStreet.com, Inc., a financial news firm. Sean graduated from The Colorado College. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
