Imad Moustapha

Syrian ambassador to US

Imad Moustapha is the Syrian ambassador to the US. Prior to his post as ambassador, he was dean of the faculty of information technology at the University of Damascus, and secretary general of the Arab School for Science and Technology. He is a co-founder of the Network of Syrian Scientists, Technologists and Innovators Abroad (NOSSTIA). He was an active consultant to several international and regional organizations on science and technology policies in the Middle East. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Surrey, UK.
