VAWA Grants Administrator, Public Safety & Security, MA

As Administrator of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Act grant program for the last six years, DeAngelis has overseen the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women’s VAWA STOP (Services, Training, Officers, Prosecutors) program, Grants to Encourage Arrest and Enforcement of Protection Orders and the MA Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit programs at EOPSS. For the past fourteen, she has worked with victims impacted by violence and community programs servicing survivors as an Advocate with the Office of the Attorney General Victim Compensation Program, Coordinator of the Suicide Prevention Program and MA Violence Prevention Task Force at the MA Department of Public Health.
