D. Michael Lindsay, assistant professor of sociology at Rice University, is a renowned sociologist, focusing on issues of faith and leadership. He heads the White House Fellows Project, a research project that studies the role of the White House Fellowship, America's most prestigious leadership program, in the lives of America's top leaders, across a range of fields. Prior to this project, Lindsay interviewed 360 evangelical Christians in positions of leadership, published by Oxford as *Faith in the Halls of Power*. D. Michael Lindsay leads the field in the academic study of the effects of faith in the leaders of one of history's most powerful countries.
