Ana Aceves

Ana Aceves is a Digital Producer for NOVA where she produces short-form videos for its various social media platforms. She enjoys telling stories at the intersection of science and everyday experiences, especially when they empower women and historically under-represented groups.

Aceves earned her Bachelors’ Degree in astrophysics and media studies from UC Berkeley and then went on to pursue a Masters’ in Science Journalism from Boston University. In 2014, she proudly was one of the first Spanish-language Mass Media Fellows for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and was placed at Univision Communications in Miami, FL.

Despite having roots in sunny California, Aceves now lives—and loves living—in the Greater Boston area. In her sparingly free time, she’s either watching the latest movies/shows causing a buzz, bullet journaling, or reading.
