Ana Aceves

Ana Aceves is currently a Digital Associate Producer at NOVA PBS. There, she works on all things digital—from producing videos for NOVA’s various social media platforms to managing its website to sending out the weekly newsletter. She enjoys telling stories at the intersection of science and everyday experiences, especially when they empower women and minorities.

Aceves earned her Bachelors’ Degree in astrophysics and media studies from UC Berkeley and then went on to pursue a Masters’ in Science Journalism from Boston University. In 2014, she proudly was one of the first Spanish-language Mass Media Fellows for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and was placed at Univision Communications in Miami, FL.

Despite having roots in sunny California, Aceves now lives—and loves living—in the Greater Boston area. When she’s not working, she’s either watching the latest movies/shows causing a buzz, baking, or salsa dancing.
