We're still more than a year and a half out from the 2020 elections, but key campaign issues are already taking shape. President Donald Trump claimed this week that the Republican party would be "the party of healthcare," while his Department of Justice argued that the entire Affordable Care Act should be revoked. Meanwhile, Democrats introduced a new plan to fortify the health care reform law. Also on Capitol Hill, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell held a vote to force Democrats to take a stance on the much-discussed Green New Deal, signaling that climate change may take on more importance in the presidential race.
