U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D - South Boston) plans to announce a run for U.S. Sen. John Kerry's Senate seat next week, according to a report in The Boston Globe

The Globe is reporting that Lynch plans to announce next week after Kerry has been confirmed as U.S. Secretary of State.
