Both Presidential candidates took the past weekend off — President Obama played golf and celebrated his fifty-first birthday at Camp David, and Mitt Romney was up in New Hampshire — but their campaign surrogates were busy slugging it out on the Sunday talk shows. The big item on the agenda: Mitt Romney's tax returns. Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid charged on Thursday that Romney hasn’t paid income tax for 10 years. Republican National Committee Chair Reince Preibus called Reid a “dirty liar.” Meanwhile, others are saying, just release them already.

We talk about this, and the rest of the news from over the weekend, today on Politics as Usual.
