Tech writer Andy Ihnatko joined Boston Public Radio on Thursday to speak about how to sanitize and clean your technology to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Ihnatko started by explaining the definitive way to clean an iPhone.
"Just on Monday, Apple updated that it's okay to use alcohol based sanitizers or even Clorox wipes on screens of your Apple devices," he said. "The things that you have to worry about is if you're using it on keyboards, realize that alcohol can strip the lettering and any print you have on there, so an alternative is to use UV light."
