Chuck Todd, host of "Meet The Press" on NBC joined Boston Public Radio Thursday to discuss a grab bag of political headlines, including gun control, impeachment and a preview of Thursday night’s debate.
Todd said he doesn't think the debates have made much of an impact yet this election cycle.
“The democratic party is basically split in two. It goes like this: If you believe the 2016 election was stolen, you’re a Biden person. And if you believe the 2016 election was won because the Democrats didn’t offer diddly, you’re basically in the Warren/Sanders camp," he said. "There’s a whole bunch of people who thought there was some place in between Warren and Biden in this field — Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg — all these people thought there was a lane in between, and there is no lane. You’re either for restoration or for progressive disruption. Period.”
