Ali Noorani weighed in on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ attempt to effectively kick migrant children who arrived in the country without their parents out of the state’s shelters and transitional foster care. His tactics rely on refusing shelter and foster care license renewal applications. Noorani is president and CEO of the National Immigration Forum. His latest book is “There Goes the Neighborhood: How Communities Overcome Prejudice and Meet the Challenge of American Immigration.”
