Manslaughter charges were filed Wednesday against the Minnesota police officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright, while the murder trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin drew to a close only a few miles away. Jim Braude discussed the problems with policing nationwide and in Massachusetts with Michael Curry, the chair of the NAACP Advocacy and Policy Committee; Natashia Tidwell, a former police officer, federal prosecutor and a current partner at the law firm Saul, Ewing, Arnstein and Lehr; and Jamarhl Crawford, a community activist, the publisher of Blackstonian and member of the Boston Police Reform Task Force.
