For many children, the stress, anxiety and social isolation brought on by the pandemic over the past year have been particularly difficult to navigate. A new book, "The Insanely Awesome Pandemic Playbook: A Humorous Mental Health Guide For Kids," helps young readers think about healthy coping mechanisms. It's accompanied by an educational guide for parents as teachers. It was co-written by Elizabeth Englander, professor of psychology and executive director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center at Bridgewater State University, and Katharine Covino, assistant professor of English at Fitchburg State, both of whom joined Jim Braude to discuss.
