Massachusetts started administering the coronavirus vaccine to people 75 and older Monday, including at Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium. But in addition to those who got appointments, there plenty of stories of frustrated residents unable to find somewhere to go. One such woman, Jodi Scarbrough, tried unsuccessfully for days to sign up her in-laws for the shots before finally securing a slot just before she joined Jim Braude, along with state Sen. Julian Cyr of the Cape & Islands, who has expressed frustration at the state’s rollout.

Vaccinations At Fenway & Gillette Promise Ramped-Up Operations In Coming Weeks
Massachusetts opened its third mass vaccination site today at Fenway Park in addition to ones already up and running at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough and the Eastfield Mall in Springfield. The operation at the two sports centers are being run by Cambridge tech company CIC Health, which is aiming to offer 1,250 shots per day at Fenway and 5,000 per day at Gillette in the coming weeks. Rodrigo Martinez, the Chief Marketing Officer of CIC Health, discussed how it all came together and what people should expect if they visit either site.
