A COVID-19 vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson in partnership with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has now entered its final stage of clinical trials, making it the fourth American company to reach that step. If successful, it would deliver protection in a single shot — something that would significantly speed up the fight against the deadly and contagious virus.

To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by Dr. Dan Barouch, director of the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, who partnered with Johnson & Johnson to develop the vaccine.
