While in Boston, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake told protesters that he wants to ensure the FBI does “a real investigation” of accused Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh. However, there have been questions about the depth of that investigation. President Trump said Monday that while he's open to a “comprehensive” investigation, he wants it to go “quickly.” What does a quick, comprehensive investigation look like? Jim Braude was joined by Patrick Moore, a former advisor for presidential personnel under Barack Obama who helped vet Merrick Garland; and George Price, a former federal law enforcement investigator, now an attorney with Casner and Edwards.

Over the past week, calls into rape crisis centers have surged with people sharing stories of assaults — along with fears of not being believed. Heather Crowe Conner is one of the women who has had to overcome this fear. Several years ago, she accused tennis legend Bob Hewitt of abusing her, starting when she was just 14 years old — a crime for which he was later ordered to pay her more than $1 million in restitution. Braude was joined by Conner, along with Gina Scaramella, executive director of the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center.
