Former Congressional candidate Jesse Mermell and attorney Rosina-Maria Lucibello share more than just a friendship: they now share a kidney, too. After Lucibello posted on Facebook that she needed a donor, Mermell took her up on the opportunity. The women joined Jim Braude to discuss Mermell's life-saving decision and their recovery journey.
“I feel so grateful to have been able to do this,” Mermell said about giving her kidney to Lucibello. “I can’t think of a better person to carry it for the next many, many years.”
