Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens fired the first shot yesterday in a New York Times op-ed calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment. The President responded on Twitter, in all caps, writing “THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED.”
 
The administration has also convinced the Commerce Department to add a constitutional element to the 2020 census, asking people whether they are U.S. citizens. The administration argues it is necessary to comply with the Voting Rights Act, but opponents say it is an attempt to short-change states with large liberal populations.
