This has been a tough couple of weeks for law enforcement. Just this past weekend, an officer in Auburn was killed and a state trooper injured by a criminal with a lengthy record. On Wednesday at the Statehouse, a ceremony meant to honor the work of troopers ended up becoming a moment of reflection on the job they do, and the support they get.
