The MBTA is holding public meetings this week to get input from riders on the proposed cancellation of late-night bus and subway service. Implemented as a pilot program two years ago, the service runs into the early morning hours on Saturdays and Sundays.  Many bar and restaurant workers whose weekend shifts end after midnight rely on it to get home. Edison Munera lives in East Boston, but works in Arlington. He says that if late-night service is eliminated, he might have to look for a new job.
