Boston police are investigating a fatal shooting that they say is the city's first homicide of 2016.
Police responded to a report of a shooting early Sunday morning on Falcon Street in East Boston.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
