The failure of the Boston Globe’s new delivery sub contractors to get the newspaper into the hands of subscribers has become a public relations nightmare. It’s also hard to imagine that there will not be financial impacts. Not only from disgruntled subscribers who may cancel their subscriptions, but also from advertisers who have booked space in the undelivered editions. On the late-night, early-morning cusp that straddles Saturday night and Sunday morning, I visited one of the delivery hubs.
