If someone dared you to jump in to the Charles River for a nice little swim, you might blanch a little bit. But what if someone asked you to drink from it?

Now, thanks to the folks from Harpoon Brewery, you can. They have a special limited edition Charles River Ale made from 300 gallons of water extracted from—you guessed it—the Charles River. (It gives a whole new meaning to that classic lyric, "love that dirty water.")

To commemorate this feat in Boston and brewing history, Boston Public Radio invited Harpoon's Al Marzi, Chief Brewing Officer, and Brand Manager Chris Bonacci. To hear how they fared, tune in to Boston Public Radio above.
