Edwin Alemany, arrested for allegedly attacking women in South Boston and expected to be charged for the alleged murder of Amy Lord, was ordered held on $3 million cash bail at South Boston District Court Wednesday, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
Alemany is expected to be arraigned for the murder of Amy Lord in Thursday. Lord was abducted in South Boston in July, forced to take money from several ATM machines, and stabbed to death. Her body was found in Stony Brook Reservation in Hyde Park.
Alemany will next appear in court in South Boston on Nov. 17 with Assistant District Attorney John Pappas and defense attorney Jeffrey Denner.
