Wednesday, Pres. Obama spoke to the need for a full examination of the nation's gun laws. His comments came in the wake of the tragic shootings at a school in Newtown, CT. In 2010, another gun crime was perpetrated in Mattapan, and the shooting left four dead — including a small child — and another permanently paralyzed.

Dwayne Moore was a suspect in the homicide from the beginning. His first time in court resulted in a mistrial, but earlier this week a second jury found Moore guilty of homicide. He was sentenced Tuesday and will likely live out his days in prison.

Suffolk County Attorney Daniel Conley was the prosecutor in Moore's trial. He joined Emily Rooney to talk about the process.
