Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is still "in this fight" and planning on running for reelection, she told host Jon Keller on Greater Boston.

"I'm in this fight. I'll make the formal announcement about my reelection sometime soon and I'll be out and doing the town halls that I love to do all around the commonwealth," Warren said.

Warren was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012 when she beat incumbent Scott Brown and became the first female senator from Massachusetts. If reelected, Warren will be 81 by the time her third term is over. She indicated no signs of slowing down.

"Nobody goes into any job saying I want to make myself a lame duck from the beginning. For me, Jon, it's about the fight," Warren said.
