The state's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is pushing back against school districts that are starting remotely, but have low coronavirus transmission numbers within their communities. DESE says they want a timeline of when exactly these districts will get students back into the classrooms.

Watertown Public Schools is one of these communities. We spoke with Watertown Superintendent Dr. Deanne Galdston and John Porz, School Committee Chair, about this pushback.

Then, involuntary psychiatric admissions to hospitals seems to be up. We heard from Dr. Dost Ongur, chief of the Center of Excellence in Psychotic Disorders at McLean Hospital in Belmont, about what he's seeing.
