Controversy At MassArt Raise Questions About Pushing Sexual Boundaries In Art School

Controversy at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design is raising the question: how far is too far when it comes to pushing the boundaries in art school? According to the Boston Globe, nationally renowned photographer Nicholas Nixon abruptly retired last month after he was accused by multiple students of inappropriate behavior. The Globe reports not a single person filed a complaint with the school until the paper started investigating. So where is the line that cannot be crossed when it comes to artistic expression?

Boston Globe arts reporter Malcolm Gay, who has been investigating this story for months, and a former student of Nixon’s, Zoe Perry-Wood, now a documentary photographer, joined Jim Braude to discuss.
